concert featuring the work of MFA candidate Nicole Predki, happening February
6 & 7 at 7:30 pm and February 8 at 2 pm. Aerial feats combined with operatic
voices, live video projection and captivating choreography meet the subjects of
math and science creating an unforgettable evening of performance.
This concert is sponsored by the Department of Theatre & Dance and ATLAS
Institute’s Center for the Arts, Media & Performance. Artistic Director, Nicole
Predki draws her inspiration from German mathematician Otto Toeplitz’s matrix
which led to his theory of infinite dimensional spaces. The acronym TOE in the
performance title represents the “Theory of Everything” often associated with
Einstein’s quest for a unified field theory.
All of this comes together in a unique collaborative and intimate performance.
The audience will have the unique opportunity to view the same performance
twice in two separate spaces, the ATLAS Black Box Theatre and the Film
Screening Room. Do not miss out on a performance that is sure to spark every
one of your senses and leave you in awe of its divine complexity!
Hope to see you all there!!( The posterCollapse )
